We live in a culture that embraces serial monogamy. You pair up with someone and spend all your time with them, until you get sick of their snoring or penchant for video games, then you dump them and move on to the next person. I consider the following as well:

-Can you imagine them crying, and how does that make you feel?

-What will they be like in 20 years?

-Would they be capable of being a good parent?

-If asked to, would they sacrifice their beliefs for you?
(The answer here for me must be a ‘no’, but I guess that depends on your priorities.)
